Nearing retirement, I and then my partner placed our trust in a Luxembourg regulated, PWC-audited investment fund, with large banks as a custodian of the fund's assets. How misplaced our trust was!!! Not only was the Columna fund a big scam, but clearly the whole LFP circus was repeat financial fraud, one fund after another. The CSSF, with hands dirty, refused to intervene when I contacted them. They seem more interested in covering up fraud and protecting Luxembourg's reputation than cleaning house. So many financial groups involved, so much fraud, and the financial system offers zero protection or recourse to investors!!
Our lives have been ruined, Luxembourg marches on with no guilt or shame whatsoever!!

A horrendous debacle from start to finish, with zero accountability at every level. No investor should have any confidence in the workings of the Luxembourg financial markets!
From total failure to extensive cover up, the ultimate ignominy was when the CSSF told complaining shareholders that they were well-informed so "hard luck"!
